Ardent Firework Displays Ltd will provide a fireworks display for the organiser, for an agreed amount, if a suitable firing area can be found, and the landowners permission given. A deposit of Ł250 must be paid at time of booking once a suitable area has been found. CANCELLATION / POSTPONEMENT In the event of the display being cancelled by the organiser at any time after the signing of the contract, or the balance not received by the due date, which is also seen as a cancellation, the deposit may be retained by Ardent Firework Displays Ltd. In the event of the display being postponed but re-booked within one calendar month from the original display date, an additional 10% of the original cost is to be paid by the organiser to Ardent Firework Displays Ltd, a minimum of two weeks prior to revised display date. Postponement beyond one calendar month is deemed to be a cancellation of the display. The decision of the senior operator on the day as to whether or not the display can safely take place, will be binding on the organiser. Ardent Firework Displays Ltd reserves the right to substitute products of equal or greater value as all items are subject to availability. SAFETY ZONES AND STEWARDS Ardent Firework Displays Ltd will provide roping if required and a steward to maintain the safety zone if neccessary. Should anyone enter the safety zone Ardent Firework Displays Ltd reserves the right to stop the display temporarily, or end the display, in the interests of safety. First Aid arrangements should be made by the organiser or can be arranged by Ardent Firework Displays Ltd at an additional charge. No other fireworks or sparklers are permitted at the display. NOTIFICATIONS Ardent Firework Displays Ltd will, as neccessary, notify police, fire service, local authority of the date, time and the location of the display. Where appropriate and possible, local landowners and residents will be made aware of the display. LIABILITY The organisers agree that Ardent Firework Displays Ltd and its display firers shall not be liable for claims, expenses or liabilities incurred directly or indirectly from the display, except death or bodily injury or damage to property caused by direct contact of the fireworks or parts thereof and resulting solely from the negligence of Ardent Firework Displays Ltd or their operators.
